A Manufacturing Event That Delivered
On August 27, Braincube hosted our biggest-ever Go Beyond Summit in Campinas, Brazil, bringing nearly 200 manufacturing leaders together for a full day of learning, collaboration, and practical conversations about productivity.
The discussions focused on what matters in Brazilian industry today: staying competitive in a volatile environment, eliminating hidden waste, and putting data to work so teams can make faster and better decisions.
Attendees discussed how digitalization and smarter use of data are becoming essential pillars of operational excellence. Manufacturers that lean into this shift are building the agility and confidence to perform in any environment.
Keynote to Kick Off: Mindset, Discipline, and Going Beyond
Olympic champion Gustavo Borges opened the Summit with an inspiring keynote on discipline, resilience, and the habits that sustain high performance. He spoke about what it takes to consistently push past limits, not through raw talent, but through preparation and mindset.
The connection to our industry was clear: success in manufacturing also depends on clarity, readiness, and a culture of continuous improvement. It was a fitting start to a day about building systems that help teams thrive under pressure.
Customer Stories Grounded in Reality
The most impactful sessions came from customer speakers who shared their real-world progress.
- The Santa Maria team showed how their Process Engineering and Industrial Systems team used Braincube use cases to bring more agility to daily routines and more assertiveness to process discussions. These changes are helping them streamline studies and align more quickly across teams.
- Speakers from Natura, Villares Metals, The HEINEKEN Company, Ajinomoto Co., Inc., and Gerdau shared how digitalization is reshaping operations and supply chains. They emphasized that intelligent use of data is no longer optional. It is already a pillar of future competitiveness, where operational excellence depends on innovation and smarter collaboration.
Throughout the day’s discussions, it became increasingly clear – the value of data is in the context. When frontline teams and management together can act on insights in real time, conversations shift, decisions improve, and continuous improvement becomes part of the routine.
A Community That Pushes Each Other Forward
Beyond the formal sessions, Go Beyond Brazil stood out for the openness of the conversations. Process engineers, quality leaders, and executives exchanged honest lessons about what has worked, what has not, and where they see the greatest potential.
That spirit of candor made the learning practical. Attendees left with insights they could apply right away, whether to reduce waste, accelerate process studies, or bring more alignment to cross-functional discussions.
Why This Event Mattered — and What Comes Next
The Go Beyond Summit Brazil confirmed the industrial strength and potential of the region. Despite macroeconomic challenges, the community showed clear drive to turn those pressures into an advantage.
With nearly 200 leaders sharing experiences in one room, the event proved that productivity is not just about technology but about community, knowledge, and mindset.
We thank our speakers, our partner AVEVA Select Brasil, and every participant who made this day possible. You reminded us what it means to Go Beyond.
Next up, the Go Beyond Summit continues in Paris, France October 8.
