Braincube was founded in 2007 by three French engineers, Laurent Laporte (President and CEO), Sylvain Rubat du Mérac (CTO), and Hélène Olphe-Galliard. Their vision has helped thousands of manufacturers accelerate their digital transformation through data-enablement tools. Their early discovery of algorithm that could analyze and prioritize thousands of parameters and data points to revolutionize the way people in industry worked, all within minutes, was the backbone for the Braincube IIoT Platform, which has since evolved into an all-encompassing daily production tool from reporting, visualizations, and advanced analytics.

Laurent Laporte co-founded Braincube in 2007. Since then, he has spent his time infusing our customers’ vision into the Braincube portfolio. Under his leadership, Braincube has customers in more than 35 countries, supported by more than 250 employees, and secured a recent Series B funding. He serves as the VP of the Digital League cluster and as a board member and co-founder of French Tech Clermont Auvergne. Prior to Braincube, he spent 15 years in manufacturing plants and consultancy. He received an MSc in Engineering and Manufacturing at Arts et Métiers University.
Michael has a strong record of developing successful revenue strategies, driving growth culture development, and transformation projects. After an initial career in retail fashion at GAP and Jennyfer, Michael joined the world of startups 15 years ago. Michael brings his robust experience in both B2B and B2C companies to Braincube, with his diverse career across SaaS, PaaS, Cloud, Managed Services and Cybersecurity. While he is particularly driven by sales performance and customer satisfaction, he applies a business-oriented rigor to his work. He has managed and led multiple international teams and looks forward to continued revenue expansion for Braincube.
